Background :
Hemoglobin is composed of heme and globin. The function of hemoglobin is to transport oxygen from the lungs to the tissues. Three main types of normal hemoglobin are found in adults: hemoglobin A, hemoglobin A2 and hemoglobin F, namely alpha, beta, gamma or delta, which determine the type of hemoglobin. All normal hemoglobin is a combination of alpha chain and non-alpha chain. The alpha globin gene is located on chromosome 16. Hemoglobin A consists of a pair of alpha globin chains and a pair of beta globin chains, which produce 95% to 98% of adult hemoglobin. Cellular location Cytoplasm

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
