Background :
Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoQ, also known as TC10 , is a protein that is encoded by the RHOQ gene in human. TC10 is a member of the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins involved in insulin-stimulated glucose uptake. In melanocytic cells RHOQ gene expression may be regulated by MITF. It is a plasma membrane-associated small GTPase which cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. In active state binds to a variety of effector proteins to regulate cellular responses. TC10 involved in epithelial cell polarization processes, and it may play a role in CFTR trafficking to the plasma membrane. Cellular location Cytoplasm, Membrane

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
