Background :
Syntaxin 6 is a ubiquitously expressed S25C family member of the SNARE proteins. The protein has an amino-terminal H1 domain followed by an H2 SNARE domain and a carboxy-terminal membrane anchor. Syntaxin 6 protein is localized to the trans-Golgi and within endosomes and regulates membrane trafficking by partnering with a variety of other SNARE proteins. Depending on cell type and SNARE parter, syntaxin 6 is involved in the regulation of GLUT4 trafficking, neutrophil exocytosis and granule secretion. Cellular location Membrane

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
