Background :
PRK2 is a member of the protein kinase C-related kinases (PRKs), a subfamily of Ser/Thr-specific kinases with a catalytic domain highly homologous to the PKC family. PKC-related serine/threonine-protein kinase and Rho/Rac effector protein participate in specific signal transduction responses in the cell. PRK2 plays a role in regulating cell cycle progression, actin cytoskeleton assembly, cell migration, cell adhesion, tumor cell invasion, and transcription activation signaling processes. Among its related pathways are signaling by Rho GTPases and signaling by GPCR. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include RNA binding and protein kinase activity. Cellular location Nucleus, Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
