Background :
KLF4 belongs to the kruppel transcription factor family, which binds to the 5′-CACCC-3′ core sequence, acting as both an activator and an inhibitor. KLF4 binds to the promoter region of its own genes and can activate its own transcription. KLF4 regulates the expression of key transcription factors during embryonic development and regulates the maintenance and differentiation of embryonic stem cells; KLF4 contributes to the down- regulation of p53/TP53 transcription and is a key regulator of normal cell proliferation. It can inhibit the proliferation of neuroblastoma, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, et al. For example, in human pancreatic cancer, KLF4 reduces tumor cell proliferation by inducing the CDK inhibitors CDKN1A and CDKN1B (encoding p27; also known as KIP1) and reducing the expression of cyclin D1 (CCND1) and FOXM1. Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
