Background :
Heat shock protein 60 (Hsp60), also known as 60 kDa chaperonin (Cpn60), is a highly conserved protein that mainly exists in mitochondria and is very important for key protein folding introduced into mitochondria. When cells are damaged or stressed, HSP60 acts as a danger signal; and HSP60 can be used as an effective stimulator of immune response. HSP60 and its co-chaperone protein HSP10 can assist in the correct folding of nascent polypeptides, prevent misfolding and promote the refolding and correct assembly of unfolded polypeptides produced by the mitochondrial matrix under stress conditions. In addition, changes in the expression level of Hsp60 can be used as a marker for the prognosis or diagnosis of certain cancers and diseases. Cellular location Mitochondria

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
